Dear Friend, Thank you for enrolling in the February 2022 Understanding Dementia MOOC. We are pleased to announce that the course is now open. We look forward to your participation during the coming weeks. We hope you might also let others know about the course – see below for details. To enter the course, please visit https://mooc.utas.edu.au/profile. You will be asked to log in with your email address and password. This is the email address you provided when you signed up. If you need to reset your password, you can click here https://mooc.utas.edu.au/forgot_password and a password reset link will be emailed to you (check for the password reset email in your junk mail folder if you can’t see it in your inbox). For the first two days, you will be able to access the Orientation Module. This gives you a chance to familiarise yourself with the learning environment. There will be opportunities to participate in research, and to introduce yourself to other participants in the 'Social Space' discussion forum. You will need to submit your yes/no response to the Research Consent question, to be able to continue in the MOOC (all research is entirely voluntary). The Brain Module will be accessible from Thursday 10th February, at 9am (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). Invite others to study alongside you... We know many of you have already passed on information about the course to others, which we really appreciate. Thousands of people have already enrolled in the course - so thank you! Enrolments are open until 4th March, so if you know of others who might be interested, here are some ways to let them know: - Send information about the course to family, friends, colleagues and groups who may be interested.
