Education is crucial to improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families. As our health and aged care sectors face ongoing challenges, now is the time to expand your dementia knowledge. 

Start studying our Diploma of Dementia Care in semester 2 with a 100% HECS waiver *.

To obtain the 100% HECS waiver for the Diploma of Dementia Care (eight units), you must initially apply for and complete the Undergraduate Certificate in Dementia Care (which equates to the first four units in the Diploma of Dementia Care). 

Our diplomas are especially relevant for carers, aged care and community health workers. They are fully online and can be studied full-time or part-time. You'll learn through assessments such as quizzes, discussion boards, essays and presentations, with a dedicated team of Student Advisors to help you throughout your study.

* Conditions apply. Students must commence study in semester 2 2021 to obtain the HECS waiver. Students will initially be admitted to the Undergraduate Certificate in Dementia Care (4 units) and transition to the Diploma of Dementia Care for the remaining 4 units, on successful completion of the Certificate units. There is no HECS waiver for the Diploma of Ageing Studies and Services.
